I have known Merle for many years and she is an absolutely wonderful person AND realtor! Merle (and her husband Peter) helped me buy my house in Amherst in 2012, and we stayed in touch after many changes in my life. When I decided to sell in 2021, she was absolutely my first (and only!) choice as realtor. Merle helped and advised me at every stage of what is always a stressful process of buying or selling a house. Her patience, experience, attention to detail, responsiveness, and insights were invaluable. I am very grateful to Merle for her help at every step of the process and know she was instrumental to my success. I would recommend Merle Bruno as an exceptional realtor and feel fortunate to have her friendship and advice. Mary Ratnaswamy

From the very first moment after entering the real estate market in Western Massachusetts, until long after the transaction was completed, I found consistently that Merle Bruno offered the very highest level of service tailored exactly to my needs. I was a demanding client: I wanted to see properties on extremely short notice, to visit some multiple times, for reasons that might have seemed to another realtor to be unreasonable or trivial. Merle Bruno was always pleased to help me get my questions answered and needs met. My criteria were stringent, and Merle managed to steer me in useful directions to help me find the ONE RIGHT PROPERTY and - just as important - to avoid wasting my time, which in my case was limited to a two-week shopping window. Even after the transaction was negotiated, Merle provided terrific follow-up service regarding the dozens of small details in preparing the house, handling legal and regulatory matters, utilities, referrals, and the like. An experience like this something profound for every homeowner, and I was unprepared for the scope of the task: the decisions, the planning, the uncertainties. Merle Bruno was there every minute. She never pushed me in a direction I was uncomfortable with, but was always ready to provide her very helpful advice steeped in her years of experience. If you're entering the real estate market, I recommend you call Merle Bruno at Sawicki Realty, and get things started by making one of the best decisions you'll make in the entire process.
